Ruby

Ruby came to Blue Bell just two days before in 2008 with her “sister” Abbey. Both were tiny little Persians who waddled their way into our hearts right away. Ruby Red had a beautiful long red coat and the loudest purr you’ve ever heard! When the weather was warm she would get a lion cut which she seemed to really enjoy, prancing around the patios like the little lion she was! She loved the sunshine, chicken and turkey – maybe the turkey had something to do with her Thanksgiving arrival – and snuggling with Abbey. She loved to have her head scratched and would push her head hard into your hand to make sure you knew to keep scratching.

We almost lost her several months ago but she rebounded and we enjoyed the bonus time we were able to spend with her. We’ll miss our brave little lion and we promise to take good care of Abbey for you, little one!
