Alex

I am sorry to tell you that Alex passed away late yesterday afternoon (2/13/08).

His heart just gave out in the end. Rachelle one of the techs at Canyon was with him and she told him he was loved and that his mama was waiting for him and that it was ok to go. He went quickly and peacefully.

I think he was trying to hang in there for us more than for himself. He just seemed like that kind of cat. I think he probably hung in there for his owner and when she passed away, he just didn't have the strength or desire anymore to go on.

We certainly know he had hyperthyroidism and cardiomyopathy, but he most likely had lymphoma as well.

I know he was not with us long but he was much loved and a very special cat. He will be missed. I am glad he is with his mama now and I know they are happy together.
