Tristan

Tristan suffered from Inflammatory Bowel Disease for all his life. We are all devastated at his passing, particularly because within the last 2 months he seemed to have been improving, indeed, he kept his food down and he was much more relaxed. However, the disease had just done too much damage to his system. Sarah sums it up beautifully with the following: "No words can express how impressed I am with Tristan's courageous strength. Up until his last few moments, there was never a time when he wouldn't purr when I touched him. Even having given him medication after medication...he always forgave, and was always full of love. He appreciated everyone so much. He warmed our hearts (and our laps), and I will cherish every blessed second I had with him. The decision was made to end his suffering only minutes after he expressed to us that he was indeed in pain. Donna, Dr. Alcala, Rachele, and I surrounded him with affection and hope for peace."
