Anderson-Wentzel Dedication Ceremony - 2013

On Monday, June 24, we held the official ribbon-cutting for the new "Anderson-Wentzel" house. This is our "TLC" building that was destroyed in the rainstorm and completely gutted and refurbished. We thank all of you who also contributed in making this possible. You started the ball rolling, and Richard Anderson provided the remainder and majority of the funding to complete the renovation. We honor him and his partner of 50 years, Alex Wentzel, who died in 2011. Alex was a pet advocate in Laguna Beach who started RUFF (Rescuing Unwanted Furry Friends) as well as a dear friend of Blue Bell. His picture is displayed on the table. We also celebrated Richard's 86th birthday, complete with a cake with the Blue Bell logo!
