Screamer

Screamer, 17, came to us in 2010 after having lived a year in a cage at our vet. She immediately thrived and was often our “foyer greeter”. As her name implies, she had a loud meow and loved using it. She was a darling cat and loved attention. Screamer had hyperthyroidism, chronic kidney failure and a heart condition which were kept under control but eventually her heart started having trouble pumping and she had fluid buildup in her chest and abdomen. The fluid was drained several times, but became more frequent and this was very uncomfortable for her. This progressed and she was having trouble breathing and we knew it was time. Santiago brought her to our vet and she was put to sleep in February by Dr. Jen with Rima, Joyce and Colleen by her side.
